IGNITE THEIR IMAGINATION
At Southside we recognise the early years are critical in igniting a child’s love of learning. Our Cycle 1 learners in Prep, Kindergarten and Year 1, enjoy full and varied days filled with curiosity, wonder and experiences that nurture the development of the whole child.
Our Prep year begins with the traditions of sensory and practical life skills as developed by Dr Maria Montessori. A 3 day program (Monday-Wednesday) is offered as well as a full 5 day program, from 9am-3pm. Preparatory Program (Prep) students are Early Learners who will turn four years of age by 30 April on the clear understanding that they will continue their primary education at Southside Montessori.
KINDERGARTEN
At Southside Montessori School your young learner will:
· Build upon what they already know
· Experience rapid academic and social growth
· Progress at their own pace
· Be treated with deep respect as a unique individual
