Welcome to Southside Montessori School
Southside Montessori School is an independent and co-educational school located in the South-West of Sydney. Our campus borders the Georges River and surrounding nature reserve, with beautiful native bushland and wildlife that hold a special connection for our families. Our community school offers an authentic Montessori education for children from 0-12 years of age, where educational continuity from early learning to the primary years, fosters learners who flourish through each phase of their development.
Established 45 years ago, Southside Montessori School has a long and distinguished history. Today, we host a Teacher Training Centre onsite, where aspiring Montessori educators are trained by international teacher trainers from Sydney Montessori Training Centre. Our community is fortunate to access a wealth of knowledge provided by founding members, staff, consultants and educationalists who are passionate about the Montessori philosophy.
